Story of the Week – “Students Helping Students”

How can we help? Scout Leader Charles Thomas and Boy Scout Pack 711 were seeking ways to support Spirit of Joy.  So, when the project of painting preschool cubbies came up, the group said “we’ll do it”! Students know just how to help other students. On June 1-2, the boys came prepared with paint clothes and water bottles. Cubbies were painted, snacks were shared, and friends were together. The cubbies look fantastic and will be in the church hallways soon. Preschool and Sprout students will now have a special place for their things when they visit.
