Adult Choir

Rehearses on Wednesdays at 5:30pm and sing in worship once a month.

Gardeners

We go to the garden as often as we can. One group helps with our community garden, another cares for the prayer & memorial garden. We love to beautify God’s creation!

Grief Support Group

A six-week series on grief care is offered as needs arise.

Mom’s with a Purpose

Welcoming space to connect with others for fellowship, Bible study, and service.

Quilters

Creating quilt tops at home and coming together to tie quilts for our Spirit of Joy high school graduates and mission groups.

Sound of Joy

The worship band meets on Tuesday evenings for rehearsal and plays in worship twice a month. Singers and instrumentalists welcome.

Sunflower Singles

For those who have never been married, divorced, or widowed. Meets monthly for lunch or dinner at local restaurants.

Thursday Morning Men’s Bible Study

Meets every Thursday at 6:30 a.m.at The Fryin’ Pan for breakfast and Bible study.  We discuss, learn, and share experiences in the growth of our Christian faith.

Women’s Bible Study

Meets weekly at Spirit of Joy during the school year. Using a variety of studies, we discuss, learn, and share experiences in our faith.

Women’s Book Club

We read a variety of books and meet on the first Tuesday of each month. It’s a great way to make new friends, and more are always welcome!

Women’s Fellowship Group

Two different groups meet once a month at a coffee shop, restaurant, or someone’s home for devotion and conversation.

Woodworkers

Groups meets for fellowship and woodworking activities. Creations include the beautiful faith chests given to the newly baptized at Spirit of Joy, and for their community work with Hope Haven making parts for wheelchairs.
