Story of the Week – Graduation Day

Sunday, May 22nd was graduation day in the Eisele family…again! Commencement for Luther Seminary was held on a beautiful day in Minneapolis at Central Lutheran Church. Ben Eisele received his Master of Divinity degree and was elected by his classmates to serve as the student speaker. Ben also found out on graduation day that he was awarded the Frederick Buechner Prize for Excellence in Preaching.
His proud dad received his Doctor of Ministry degree in Congregational Mission and Leadership. The title of his thesis is “Cultivating the Holy Calling of Ordinary Saints: The Church at Work for the Life of the World.”
