Nick Welder of Charis Ministries joins us today to share about the Charis Ministry programs as well as share stories of those the programs have touched. Charis consists of Food to You-the Mobile Food Pantry, Necessities for Neighbors, and Healthy Rides, a cooperative effort of twelve Lutheran congregations working to decrease hunger and assist neighbors in the Sioux Falls area. It was our privilege to present Nick with Spirit of Joy’s next building fund tithe of $10,000 for the purpose of strengthening these ministries.
